Gerry Murphy has over 30 years experience in development, manufacturing, CMC and QA/QC of therapeutic proteins and vaccines in both small and large biopharmaceutical companies in the UK, Canada and Ireland. Experienced in leading international, multi-functional groups to address global CMC expectations throughout the product life cycle. Prior to joining Cilatus, Gerry was the Head of International Quality Control at NPS Pharma International. Gerry also held senior QC leadership and technical positions at Elan Pharma International, Janssen Alzheimer’s Immunotherapy (a J&J company), Wyeth BioPharma, Biomira Inc. and Amersham International.
Gerry earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and his B.A. (Mod) in Biochemistry, from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
As part of the Cilatus team, Gerry enjoys the role of CMC leader for clients and is the QC/analytical subject matter expert at Cilatus. Gerry has led entire CMC programs for clients from pre-clinical into phase I, II, and III and pre-commercial activities.
